Simba Lombo

I was born in Kenya and did not go to school until I was 11 years old.

I went to high school when I was 19 years old. I trained as Middle school teacher and taught for some time.

The Lord called me into Ministry and I went to Pan Africa Christian University in Nairobi Kenya where I received a BA degree in Bible and Theology. I then worked in student’s ministry for several years. I went to Presbyterian Theological Seminary and graduated with MA in Christian Education in 1987. After my studies in South Korea I taught at Pan Africa Christian University and raised a family.

My family and I moved to the US in 2009 and settled in Alabama. My wife and I have four children and three grandchildren.

I studied for my doctoral studies and graduated with Ed.D in Education in 2015.

I have been involved in teaching at Birmingham Theological Seminary and pastoring a local church here in Birmingham. I am very involved in the lives of the African community. As I got involved with the challenges of the people in my community, I realized that CPE could equip me to be more relevant in my ministry. I look forward to learning and growing as I go through the program.
