Ronald Sterling

Ronald Dean Sterling was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, with a B.S. degree in Business Management. In 1988, Ronald moved to Birmingham, Alabama, while employed for BellSouth Telecommunications as a Project Manager.

He graduated from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 2007 with a Masters of Divinity degree. Ronald continued his theological studies at Beeson and completed his Doctor of Ministry degree in 2015 in the area of Spiritual Leadership.

He has completed four extended units of CPE through Princeton Baptist Medical Center, in Birmingham, AL.

Ronald is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) with seventeen years of pastoral experience. He serves as the pastor of Saint Paul AME Church in Birmingham, Alabama.

He is married to Kim Carrell Sterling, and they have three adult children and seven grandchildren.
