Corey White

Corey White is a Birmingham, AL native in virtually every sense of the word. After graduating from Vestavia Hills High School, he attended Samford University, receiving a B.S.B.A. in Marketing in 2017 and an M.Div. in 2020 from Beeson Divinity School.

Deciding that 8 years of college/graduate school was not enough, Corey earned an M.S. in Psychology through the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2021.

After 9 straight years of formal schooling, Corey decided he should probably do something with his education, and thus enrolled in the Hospital Chaplaincy Residency at UAB.

Corey is a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Homewood, AL and has a ministerial background in children’s ministry – having served in various children’s ministry roles throughout and after seminary.

Outside of the workplace (or classroom), Corey enjoys reading, running, writing, playing piano, eating good food with good company, and spending time with friends or one of his many (six) siblings. He is incredibly excited to step into this pastoral role at UAB and experience the ways in which it will shape him and his ministry moving forward.
