Caitlin Campbell

Caitlin Campbell is a native of Birmingham. She graduated from UAB in 2013 with a Bachelor’s in Social Psychology.

Caitlin began volunteering in Pastoral Care with Children’s of Alabama Hospital in 2011 and interned with the department the following summer. She served as a Chaplain Intern with UAB Hospital in the Fall of 2013, and continued volunteering as a Pastoral Care Associate afterwards. Caitlin currently visits with patients and families in surgery waiting areas and assists with patient visits throughout the hospital.

Caitlin co-founded Purpose Place, a thrift store located in Irondale, AL with a group of friends last year. Purpose Place provides inclusive community and job skills training to individuals who have special needs. The store also serves as a place for local residents and those passing through the area to not only shop but sit for a while and relax while enjoying conversation and coffee. Caitlin is also a caregiver for a teenager with non-verbal autism.

Caitlin lives within a small community of missionaries in Irondale.
